08: BLUE MOON RISING 4:07 (Boston ‘76)
8 BLUE MOON RISING 4:07 (Boston ‘76)
Who’d have thought you would leave me
all alone and faced with the moon
on this dark and lonely evening
I’ll be waiting till dawn or doom
So tell me why you are leaving
and won’t you please answer your phone
I don’t find this all so amusing
like pretending that you’re not home
I’ve never considered astrology
to tell me how my days will be
but something I read
in the paper this morning said
my stars are crossed
with a Blue Moon Rising
my stars are crossed
with a Blue Moon Rising
Once I had more than many
and to you I gave my heart free
there must surely be here a lesson
that I’ve learned hard to some degree
So now I wake every morning
and worry ‘bout nothing at all
I just read the words of my life in brief
to see if I’ll rise or I’ll fall
I’ve never considered astrology
to tell me how my days will be
but something I read
in the paper this morning said
my stars are crossed
with a Blue Moon Rising
my stars are crossed
with a Blue Moon Rising
my stars are crossed
with a Blue Moon Rising
